Les Miserables Teaser Trailer

Just a few days ago, I shared the first official images from upcoming musical-turned-film Les Miserables and admitted that I wasn't 100% certain that I wanted to see it. For a long time, I have really wanted to go see Les Miserables on stage in London, and I'd been considering going to see it for my 30th birthday next year. However, with the film due out at the end of this year, I was sceptical about whether or not I'd want to go see the stage show, if I'd already seen a film version of it. I also had my reservations about a few of the castings, which was slightly holding me back. So, the next day when I spotted, on Facebook, that a teaser trailer had finally been trickled out, I avoided watching it like the plague, until yesterday, I finally caved and watched it: So what was my eventual verdict? It. Blew. My. Mind. There was no question of doubt, that my greatest casting fear had been Anne Hathaway, but having seen this trailer I now completely understand why she was cast, and how she managed to blow their minds. I never thought that I would ever be the person to say this, but Anne Hathaway alone is enough to draw me into seeing this, and I'm actually pretty excited to see it. The only thing about the trailer was that I couldn't help feeling that Amanda Seyfried seems a little bit too hmm "drippy" for a film like this, but I've been proven wrong once with the casting, so I shall just trust those Casting Directors, and see how it pans out!
