This past weekend I attended one of my most favorite summer events, Dog Days of Summer. Basically it is a street fair that is focused 100% on dogs. It was literally packed with dogs and their owners- I think the turn out ended up being around 10,000 people! So crazy, especially since the town of Cardiff by the Sea (where I live) is relatively small… let’s just say parking was near impossible. Anyways I was asked by my friends who own a local dog store (Dirty Dogs) to help them with their pup fashion show. Which actually ended up with me being one of the presenters!! I usually have a bit of stage fright, but I ended up having a ton of fun. Not to mention Bitzy had the time of her life… and even scored some new aviator sunglasses!

( Bitzy’s amazing new shades that she surprisingly loved. P.S. I am obsessed with my new feather necklace, a gift from my friend Jackie- find a similar one here. Thanksss girl.)

( My big debut! The goofy dogs in the picture are my moms, see her to the left? I just noticed her and I are wearing the same sunglasses. )

( Bitzy was a great assistant! If any one knows doggy fashion, it’s that girl. Notice how she is mismatching? What a diva. Photo courtesy of Chowhound. )

( Probably the cutest dog at the whole event. She was 1 pound full grown. Not to mention she looked so chic in her pink & black leopard coat. Photo courtesy of Chowhound. )

( This was by far the best dressed pooch I saw, and oddly enough I think we have the same shoes (seen here). Photo courtesy of Chowhound. )
