By Parinaaz Mehta @pdm28

Hi girls!!!!! Today's post is indeed very special to me as it's about a Pink princess colour. Well princess colour to me something that makes me feel royal and special at the same time and on top of it if its pink, then its add on happiness. I am a lipstick lover, i always want to have more and more of it, the law of DMU does not work for me incase of lipsticks. I have all kinds of matte lipsticks but, its my first pink princess matte colour. Recently Lakme has launched it's Absolute Sculpt Studio Hi-Definition Matte Lipsticks at the #LakmeFashionWeek 2015. I participated in the Lakme Wall of Sculpt, where i send some photos of my lips....... and guess what Be Beautiful selected me as the 8th Winner for their wall of sculpt. Since i won they sent me a lipstick from their end. If you are beauty blogger, the happiness of receiving a lipstick beyond words. I already wore the lipstick and i am going to share my experience regarding it.

My Take on The Product

The Lakme Absolute Sculpt Studio Hi-Definition Matte Lipstick comes in a glossy packing with a plastic cap. The shade i received is Pink Caress, the shade looks different in lipstick form, but once applied, its a soft neutral pink. I was on a hunt to buy lipsticks will neutral undertones.

I am in love with this bright neutral pink and its texture. The lipstick is supremely matte, not even slightest hint of shimmer or gloss. The texture is soft matte, easily glides on lips. The lipstick is not that moisturising, so if you have dry lips or chapped ones, make sure u exfoliate them or just apply a lip balm under the lipstick.

If lips are not moisturised, there are chances of the lipstick to settle in fine lines. The shade is highly pigmented, one stroke gives a nice colour, rest depends what type of coverage one wants. I always apply two coats for the colour to build up. The staying power is upto 6hrs, with food and water, after food the shade might fade but it will still be there, after 6hrs the shade does not vanish but leaves a really lovely tint behind. In order to remove the product you will have to use a makeup remover.

1. Highly pigmented

2. Absolute matte

3. Good Staying power upto 6hrs

4. Amazing shades to choose from

5. Worth a Buy for Rs 700

Might be for some who have extremely dry lips

Final Verdict:

Matte is the flavour of the season, i guess the Lakme Sculpt lipsticks are definitely value for money, they have all shades from orange, red to mauves. I would love to buy some shades from this range and i suggest readers to try them.
