Lakme Absolute Lip Tints are, well, lip tints (wow..I am such a genius...!). What I mean is, that Lakme does not promote them as lip-balms, although, of course, the packaging is like those of lip-balms/crayons.
I like how the product is packaged, a sleek matt black sturdy plastic twist pen/stick. It looks of premium quality for sure. The cap is transparent, and you can get a peek at the color through it.

This  particular tube is a limited edition for Lakme Fashion Week 2014. Although, I am not sure whether its the color which is limited edition or the tube design, as the regular tubes look the same and also this color is in the regular line as well.....so...???

The Lip Tint itself is not too pigmented. There is no "berryness" in it. It is simply a warm-rosy-sheer pink. The product is pretty moisturising. So Lakme could have simply kept it under the balm category. As for me "tints" are very liquid-y like Benetint, The Body Shop Lip Tint, Model's  Own Lip Tint (actually pick any, all are runny liquid). If I, for a moment, ignore the silly and irrational names given to this product and this particular colour, then this is a very lovely lip crayon. But, when you go by the titles, then this is NOT a Berry-esq shade in any manner. Berry shades are supposed to be more reddish or purple-esq. Another thing I do not like about this product is low staying power and the steep price.

The Good
  • nice packaging
  • pretty color (if you ignore the name)
  • moisturising

The Bad
  • price is ridiculous (I do not think it deserves a tag of nothing more than INR 400, L'Oreal Lip Balms are way better option than these)
  • poor pigmentation (this particular shade, Berry shades are supposed to be darker) Revlon Lip Balm Stains are a better option here.

The Lakme Lip stain/tint/balms are very similar to the L'Oreal Lip Crayons/Balms ( can't recall their name) in terms of pigmentation and feel. But L'Oreal ones are almost half the price of these. If you prefer higher pigmentation and lasting power, with a promise of descent stain on lips, then definitely Revlon ones are a better choice.

Will I Repurchase??? - No way!!
