Lacquistry Amazeballs Vs. Indigo Bananas A Star to Sail By Vs. Indigo Bananas Moonlight Comparison Swatches

By Fleurissante

Hello lovelies,

one of my readers has asked me to post a comparison post of Indigo Bananas Moonlight and Lacquistry Amazeballs. I’ve totally forgotten about it until today when I went to browse unedited photos and I apologise, but I hope that you’ll still find it helpful. For comparisons sake, I decided to add Indigo Bananas A Star to Sail By flakes, too.

I apologize for messy swatches – these nail polishes are pain to clean up. It took me a whole day to completely remove any trace of glitter.

First, the formula:

Amazeballs has a pretty thick formula and it is overall better pigmented (for the lack of a better word). Indigo Bananas were pretty thin and easy to work with, but they require more coats. These nail polishes don’t dry super quickly.

The swatches are made with two coats of Lacquistry Amazeballs and three coats of Indigo Bananas nail polishes. There you can see that Amazeballs contains super concentrated amount of golden flakes.

Lacquistry Amazeballs vs. Indigo Bananas Moonlight

Amazeballs is a true gold colour, while Moonlight is silver and has considerably less flakes.

Lacquistry Amazeballs vs. Indigo Bananas A Star to Sail By

A Star to Sail By is a rose gold, which is even less opaque than Amazeballs

To be honest, I think Amazeballs is one of a kind. If you are really set on silver Amazeballs look-a-like, Indigo Bananas offer this option, but it is nowhere near comparable to Amazeballs.

Lacquistry is available on etsy store (now offers various grades of flakes)

Indigo bananas have their own store.
