By Arzoo Sharma @prettynhealthy

Hi Everyone,

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Shampoo:

The shampoo comes in a shiny golden color bottle with a brown flip top cap. Both the shampoo and conditioner comes in the same packaging, the only difference is in the position of the flip top cap, the shampoo has its cap on top and the conditioner has its cap on bottom where it stands from. I know this type of packaging is very hard to distinguish between and it happened many a times with me that I used shampoo in place of the conditioner and conditioner in place of shampoo hehe I know I sound dumb (not really I used but was about to use) but the packaging is so similar that it’s really hard to distinguish between them. Overall, the packaging is travel friendly and attractive but you may need a little extra pressure to get the last product out.

The fragrance! Umm it smells amazing, it has strong artificial fragrance, which feels pretty much like perfume but I love it so no complains and you may love it if you love fragrances like me but you may not like it if you get headache from strong fragrances!

The consistency of this shampoo is flowy and it is translucent yellow in color. It cleanse the scalp well though it does not remove oil nicely and you may need to work twice to get that proper cleansing effect. It lathers well and also rinses off easily. As far as I have seen, I haven’t noticed any such shine in my hair after I have started using this range, no shine, no extra softness, no smoothness and of course no thickness. How this shampoo will make my hair thick, I just don’t get this point! If used with the conditioner, this shampoo works nice and makes hair soft though nothing extraordinary, just the same way like any usual shampoo and conditioner would do. But then the claims of having 6 oils feels something new and unique due to which we all may get tempted to it but I guess those oils doesn’t do anything when used in a shampoo rather would be great if used separately as your regular oil, that way the oils will lend deeper nourishment and will work way much better than in a shampoo.

Pros of L’Oreal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Shampoo:

  • Inexpensive.
  • Smells amazing.
  • Travel friendly packaging.
  • Easily available.
  • Cleanses the scalp well.
  • Rinses off easily.
  • Lathers well.
  • Makes hair a bit soft, nothing much!

Cons of L’Oreal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Shampoo:

  • Doesn’t impart shine to hair.
  • No extra softness.
  • Doesn’t help control frizz.
  • Does nothing for chemically treated hair!

BML Rating: 3/5

Final Thoughts:

It’s pretty much an average shampoo, nothing extraordinary about it to invest in it! And please don’t go on Katrina’s hair in the advertisement because that’s fake and not even her real hair and she may have not got those hair by using this range of shampoo and conditioner To get hair like hers, you have to use expensive shampoos and conditioners and go for a regular spa and do treatments for your hair weekly or monthly! That’s how celebrities maintain their hairs and that’s obvious that you need to take exclusive care for your hair if you want your dream hair
