L'Oreal Colour Caresse Glam Shine Stain

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
If you have ever wanted to try Yves Saint Laurent's Glossy Stains but did not want to dish out the money, look no further.  Granted, their are some differences, but for the inexpensive price, L'Oreal's version is amazing.  I will be reviewing Rose On and On as well as Endless Red.
Shades
Rose On and On is a medium rosy pink while Endless Red is a true tomato red.

Pigment and Formula
The pigment is perfection.  Even though it appears semi-sheer when swatched, one brush across the lips leaves you with full color payoff.  The formula is great, too.  Application is smooth and it does leave a glossy finish that lasts a few hours before becoming matte.  Unlike a lot of stains out there, this one does not leave my lips feeling the least bit dry and cracked.  And I have to say that it is about time that a brand figured that out.  However, there is one issue that I have with this product: the scent.  It does have a slightly off putting, fake and perfume-y fruity scent.  I can get past it, but I can see where it would be irritating for those sensitive to fragrances.
Staying Power
One word: Amazing!  I have worn these stains to work over the last three days and they do not budge.  Whether your are having a relaxing day at home, going out with friends or spending all day at work, rest assured that this lip stain won't move.

Packaging and Price
I'm fond of the packaging.  It is simple and sleek in it's gold tube.  The clear portion around the lid (which is at the bottom of the tube) allows you to see the color.  It has a wonderful and precise doe foot applicator.  You can find these at Ulta, Wal-Mart and drug stores.  I paid $8 for them at Wal-Mart.

Overall Impression
I was blown away by the quality of these lip stains.  The staying power is wonderful as is the pigment and application.  They are definitely worth checking out.
