L'Oreal 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution

"Used by make-up artists, this solution feels as gentle as water on your skin but acts like a make-up remover, toner and skin soother all in one."

I've already included this new makeup remover in my April favourites (post here) but I love it that much that I wanted to make a proper review about it! The L'Oreal 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution is L'Oreal's take on the ever popular micellar cleansing waters, and I have to say that this one is certainly a good 'un. I picked this up a few weeks ago in Superdrug when it had an introductory half price offer, meaning that I got this cleanser for around £2.50 which was an absolute bargain. I like the packaging as you'll probably know that I'm all about the simplistic look, and you get 200ml of product so you get a fair amount of micellar water for your money. I still haven't tried Bioderma (although I will soon be blindly trying it in the Escentual Micellar Blind Trial) so I can't do a comparison. Instead I've tried the B.Pure Micellar Water from Superdrug and very much prefer L'Oreal's version to it in terms of makeup removal and the overall look of my skin afterwards.
This micellar solution doesn't have much of a smell (to me at least) but that makes sense when the product is marketed as being suitable for sensitive skin which is always a plus as my skin is sometimes prone to sensitivity when it comes to cleansers and toners. I love that the formula feels really gentle on the skin when it is applied on a cotton pad and what's even better is that it does a great job of removing my makeup in the evenings. It even manages to melt away stubborn eye makeup, phew. This micellar solution is intended to provide you with a makeup remover, cleanser and toner all in one, and I can agree with that as my skin is always left feeling squeaky clean but still moisturised as I find some liquid cleaners/makeup removers to leave my skin feeling dry and stripped of necessary moisture.
I can't recommend this micellar solution enough to anybody looking for a quick and easy makeup remover that leaves your skin feeling nice and clean, although I'll be giving it a miss over the next 2 weeks in order to take part in the Escentual Micellar Blind Trial which I'm sure a lot of you will have heard about. I'll be posting my thoughts and results after the 2 week period so keep your eyes peeled for that! You can find the L'Oreal 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution in Boots and Superdrug for £4.99, and both stores are currently including it in a 2 for £6 deal which is great for anyone who wants to stock up. Have you tried L'Oreal's answer to micellar water?
