There are two sets in this collection. This one has two full size glosses and two full size liquid lipsticks. All four shades are exclusive to this set. I am also pretty sure I heard her say that the glosses are infused with diamond powder. Considering how shimmery they are, they have to. They look amazing in the sunlight.
Angel is a liquid lipstick and it is a dusty rose. This color is absolutely beautiful. The color pay off is great and there is no need to layer it. The consistency is pretty thin and watery compared to most other liquid lipsticks. I didn't have any issues with it being patchy or uneven. It wears well throughout the day and it doesn't leave my lips feeling dried out. It also doesn't peel or flake off.
I was inspired by Karen of Makeup and Beauty Blog to start doing my swatches like this. In a recent post, she did lip prints of the colors on a blank piece of paper and wrote the names under it. I loved that idea and decided to put my own spin on it.
Blitzen is the other liquid lipstick in the set. It is a stunning deep plum that is perfect for this time of year. I did have some issues with it being uneven and a little patchy. I had to apply two layers for opaque, even coverage. While my lips didn't feel dry, they looked parched. This color settled into lines a little bit and I do experience some flaking with it, especially in the center of the lips. Like Angel, Blitzen has a thin, almost watery consistency.
The liquid lipsticks have a traditional doe foot applicator. I did notice that it seems a little smaller than most doe foots, but because I have pretty thin lips, that made application very easy.
Cupid, one of the glosses, is a stunning rose gold. It has a beautiful metallic finish and it looks great alone or over a lipstick. It has great coverage and color payoff for a lip gloss. Texture wise, it is a little bit thick. However, it still feels lightweight on the lips. There is also the tiniest bit of stickiness, but it isn't bad at all and I barely notice that. Because it is a little thicker and the color payoff is good, the staying powder is better than most glosses. I get around three hours of wear before I need to re-apply.
Noël is described as a copper, but to me it looks more like a true gold. I also see subtle flecks of purple when in direct sunlight. Either way, it is lovely. I can't really pull it off by itself, but it would look stunning on ladies with medium to deep skin. The texture is the same as Cupid..slightly thick, but it still feels lightweight. It also stays on quite well. Another thing I really like about these glosses is how hydrating they feel on the lips. I have been carrying both shades in my purse and if my lips feel dry, I just apply one of them.
These glosses have vitamin E and other emollient ingredients, per the Kylie Cosmetics site. I can tell that my lips are 1000% more moisturized after taking the glosses off and my lips also look more plump. That was a pleasant surprise because I didn't notice any tingling throughout the wear time. The applicator for the glosses is a sturdy brush that was actually very precise. I was very happy to see that the applicator was a drastic improvement compared to when she first launched the glosses. There is no fraying whatsoever and the brush is just flexible enough to wear it bends with the shape of your lips.

All four products have a sweet, fruity smell. It smells like a candy I used to eat all of the time, but I cannot put my finger on it.*Wait! I remember. I had a large, cherry flavored candy cane a few days ago that I bought from Target. It smells just like that candy cane. I don't mind it, but I can see where it might be too much for some people.
With the exception of Bltzen, I am pretty impressed with this set. One thing I do want to mention is how the lipsticks perform when one of the glosses is worn over it. I have worn Noël over Angel twice and Cupid over Angel once. The combinations are stunning, but I notice that after five hours or so, the lipstick wears off in the center very badly. This doesn't happen when they are worn alone. I don't wear lipstick for much longer than five hours at a time anyway, but it is something to be aware of.
