Khaligraph Jones has come out to stress that the war he started is meant to benefit future generation of musicians. The rapper called out Kenyan TV and radio presenters for favoring foreign content at the expense of Kenyan music.Khaligraph trashed presenters for playing too much of Nigerian music, he went on to mock the presenters by offering to fly them to Nigeria just to assess whether they will be recognized by fans in the West African nation.The Kayole rapper now stresses that he is not complaining because he wants airplay, he claims his fight is meant to benefit upcoming Kenyan musicians who are still struggling to be recognized.“To Everyone who thinks am complaining cause I want my songs to get Airplay on Radio then you are totally wrong, I am good and my Music is doing well with or without radio airplay, kindly understand that this fight is for your little brother or cousin or friend or even your child who will want to be a musician in the coming future, when I see some Kenyan people saying that Kenyan Artists lack content in their music and shouldn’t complain for not getting Airplay, I Weep, do you know the amount of talent that Is out here and barely makes it to the radio cause of how the system is currently structured? Khaligraph goes on to refer himself as a ‘freedom fighter’.
