Lets backtrack a minute. Ripe for the Pink-ing is part of KB Shimmer's Mega Flame collection, which consists of seven holographic polishes. Nobody does holographic, sparkly polishes like KB Shimmer. I am not exaggerating one bit. This polish is described as a raspberry pink and it has a boat load of fine glitter.
Application was a breeze. It was opaque in two coats, but I ended up applying three. I don't have a good reason other than I just wanted more of the sparkly goodness. The formula is perfect. It isn't too thick or thin, and it applies evenly. I've worn a couple of other KB Shimmer polishes, and they last longer on my nails than most. It took quite a few days for me to notice any wear and tear. Ripe for the Pink-ing is no different.
The sparkle is intense, which I love. You can use a top coat to make it glossy and get rid of the texture. I left it alone because it is just too pretty by itself.
Her polish is $9.25, but it is worth every penny. You can check out the KB Shimmer Spring 2016 line here.
