I bough this stuff on a whim. Something about it just seemed unique and I just knew that it would be fabulous. And I was correct.
Kari Gran is an all natural and organic skincare/makeup line that is self-described as being "eco-luxe." That alone is awesome. They use a lot of essential oils and provide a list of ingredients for each product. Also, the line is cruelty free. Talk about a win win. You can feel the thought and work that went into this as you wear it. This product is paraben free, and does not have petroleum in it. Which is awesome because it simply does not do anything beneficial. I also like how the expiration date is handwritten on the bottom. Although it will be long gone by then.

Organic Camellia Oil

Now on to the actual review. My lips have a tendency to be very dry. Even the best lip balms fall a little short. Either they don't last long, or they are too thick. Now Lip Whip has a thick consistency, but it feels lightweight once applied. But your lips also feel drenched in wonderful, luxurious moisture that lasts for hours. I Put this on before going to class (around 2:15), applied a matte lipstick, and got home at 6. I could still feel the stuff on my lips, and it didn't impact the wear of my lipstick (Colour Pop's Westie). If anything, it enhanced it. The only reason I re-applied it at 8:00 pm was just because. Pretty impressive in my book. I only have one very minute gripe with this stuff, and that is there is almost no tint to this product. Honestly, I don't even care about the tint. But I know some people could be disappointed. I do, however, wish there were a stronger hint of cinnamon because I love me some of that stuff.
I have been using it for a week now (along with another fabulous lip product that I will tell you about later), and my lips have never been better. I slather some on right before bed, and my lips are smooth and supple in the morning. No more unsightly dry flakes. I just ordered another one because I hate the thought of being without it.
It is more on the pricey side at $15 for 0.25, but you get what you pay for. The quality and results surpass anything else I have ever tried. You can (ahem..must) buy this on Sephora's site or directly from the Kari Gran site.
