June Favourites

It's favourites time once again and I'm a bit confused as to how we're more than half way through 2013 already! Since uni is now over and the summer is here (with the occasional bit of sunshine), I've really been enjoying trying out a few new products and changing up my makeup & skincare routines to suit the nicer weather. This month's favourites mainly consist of new products but there are a few rediscoveries which I'm so glad to have back in my life.

China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy: I had been lusting over this summer neon shade for so long and finally decided to order it from a US seller on eBay when the weather was looking up. This neon coral pink/orange shade is definitely more on the orange side for me although it definitely does change shade in different light settings. The bright neon shade makes my hands look a lot more tanned and I've also been getting a lot of compliments from customers at work.
Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat: This is another product I put off purchasing as I just wasn't sure if it would live up to the hype or not, but after seeing it on Amazon for around £4 I really couldn't say no any longer. This is without a doubt the best top coat I've ever used in terms of drying time and overall wear time. My nails are now looking so shiny and I can go at least a week without any chips which is fab.
Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in Birthday Suit: I've recently posted about this cream shadow/liner (here) and had to include it in my favourites as it's the only cream shadow I've reached for since I added it to my stash. It's a gorgeous champagne color with hints of brown and looks so natural on the eye, and Benefit were right when they named this a creaseless cream as it hasn't creased on me after a long day of wear.
MAC Warm Soul: I've definitely been converted to MAC products and this beauty is no exception as it's the perfect shade for giving your cheeks a natural and bronzed glow in the summer. The subtle shimmer is great for highlighting your cheeks and the lovely hint of pink also makes it a lovely color for blusher during the warmer months.
Deborah Milano Shine Creator Lipstick (shade 7): I've recently raved about this lipstick on the blog (here) and have worn it so much since I got my hands on it. This lipstick is very comparable to the Revlon Lip Butters which I'm a huge fan of, with the sheer color and moisturising formula making it great for adding a pretty wash of color to the lip. Shade 7 is a gorgeous watermelon pink shade which has been my most reached for lippy lately.
Taylor Swift Wonderstruck: Not only am I a fan of Taylor Swift's music, but I also keep falling in love with her perfumes and the original Wonderstruck scent has been my signature summer scent so far. The girly mix of fruity and floral notes is right up my street as I love the sweeter scents, and the bottle is so pretty on its own with the holographic purple finish and gold charms.
Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm: I treated myself to this honey lip balm after reading so many great reviews on blogs and I'm so glad that I did because it has become a staple in my evening routine. The £9.50 price tag can be off-putting but this genuinely is the best lip balm I've tried. I apply some before bed and in the morning I'm left with the softest lips, and its chocolate orange scent makes it even more yummy.

..and a special mention goes to Zumba Fitness for the Wii which has been my exercise of choice over the last couple of weeks. I've had this game for a couple of years now and decided to give it another go after neglecting it for so long, and I'm so glad that I've gone back to it as I actually find exercise fun now. The music is addictive and the routines really get you moving which is great for burning calories, and before you know it you've completed a 20 minute workout packed full of dancing, shaking and shimmying.
