A third taste from the box set that takes a deep dive into the material of from Axis Bold As Love album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience has hit the streaming services. One Rainy Wish (Alternate Version) is a free-flowing excursion, with the musicians feeling their way around the track and not getting quite there, although some of the diversions might have made the familiar version even more of a left field listen.
The Bold as Love box set will be released on November 7 - as a 5LP + Blu-Ray, and 4 CDs + Blu-Ray. Pre-order prices vary widely - some are actually insane, but most retailers are coming down a bit, now that the FOMO crowd has dispersed.
