‘Depression’ topped google search in Kenya in August 2014 when Hollywood legend Robin Williams committed suicide. Tanzanian songbird Lady Jay Dee came dangerously close to taking her own life a few days ago.Whereas mental health is a topic that most people are not comfortable talking about, many people are affected more so the people who appear to be very happy.No one could have imagined multimillionaire actor Robin Williams could commit suicide or Lady Jay Dee contemplating ending her life.

The ‘Yahaya’ hit maker took to Twitter to reveal that she was contemplating ingesting poison but only restrained herself after remembering how far she has come.“Jana nilihisi kunywa sumu ila kabla sijafanya nikajisuta na kujikumbusha nilipotoka na kujiuliza nitakuwa mjinga kiasi gani  Nikajisikitikia tu kisha nikaacha. Na leo bado nipo kigumu gumu ila bado nipo ,” Lady Jay Dee  tweeted.
