To learn more about each book, just click on the book cover!
Reading is a bit slow these days. I don’t know if it is the books or my inability to sit and concentrate these days. I just know I have not been reading but have been watching TV with the family and working on cross-stitch instead. I will never give up reading completely, as it is my bedtime ritual. I just need to settle my mind a bit in order to want to make it a priority again.

FINISHED SINCE THE LAST UPDATE:

Book Cover Image: The Only Child by Andrew Pyper

Book Cover Image: Final Girls by Riley Sager

Pyper’s latest novel was mediocre. I wanted to love it but think he did a poor job developing the monster. Without an interesting monster, the story falls flat.

Riley Sager’s debut novel is impressive. The ending was definitely a surprise, but I feel it takes a bit too long to get to the good stuff.

CURRENT READ:

CURRENT LISTEN:

Book Cover Image: End of Watch by Stephen King

I am slowly making progress on this one. I can’t say I am overly impressed right now. It is moving too slowly for my taste and seems a bit repetitive as the characters repeatedly hash over the same things. I hope it picks up and knocks off my socks.

NEXT UP:

Book Cover Image: The Book of Whispers by Kimberley Starr

" data-orig-size="258,400" sizes="(max-width: 194px) 100vw, 194px" aperture="aperture" />

The release date on this one is February 2018, but my e-galley archived earlier this month. I am hoping postponing other books that have already been released to read this one is worth it!

So, what are you reading?
