It's Been a While....

Hellooo shimmers,
It sure has been a while since I last posted! However, the semester has just been so busy that I decided I would just come back to my blog when things settled down, exam season and then onto summer. So time for a little catch up!
Someone made this apple into  swan for me when I was eating no sugar and they were having cake! <3
I have had such an amazing semester at university, the people I have met this year and particularly this semester are the best. I love them all to bits and have found friends for life in all of them. I have spent more time with them than without them!
I am also realising my love for event photography (someone took a picture of me taking a picture of them!)
This semester at university I was also tested for dyslexia and it turns out I am dyslexic. I have not had problems till now but I was really struggling with my exams in terms of time, structure, my spelling and grammar and so it was suggested to me that I should be tested. Now that I am getting some extra support it is helping a tonne and I am getting on much better.
This year I have also been keeping a journal. I've always wanted to do one, but I start and then forget about it and it never works, however I have scheduled it into my nighttime routine and it is going really well. I also have a 5 year Q&A journal where it asks a different question for each day of the year and you fill it in for five years and you can look back at your previous answers and see what has changed, its very cool!
My whole getting fitter and lighter has also gone really well this year so far! I have dropped two dress sizes and I am 3 stones lighter. I am so pleased with the results. I haven't changed a whole lot, I walk 10,000steps a day, I have not been eating sugar for lent which I am going to continue after easter. I have also cut down on things like pasta and bread, 1) because it doesn't sit too well with my stomach and 2) I ate too much pasta last semester!
(Excuse the messy room!)
The last 3-4 days over easter have been amazingly sunny for Scotland! so many of my friends (many of whom are American) have gone traveling in Europe of Easter and the weather seems to be nicer here than it is where they are! ...its been pretty cold all semester!
It been a pretty good few months, I couldn't be happier with the progress I have made in terms of my body and as I said in my last post I am just uber happy at the moment, and may that continue and happen for everyone who has read this.
