Pokémon Center Singapore Fukubukuro 2021
Due to the pandemic, Pokémon Center is having the sales of their New Year lucky bags online on Shopee. Last year, less than 100 Pokemon Fukubukuro were made therefore they sold out at 6 am. This year, they increased the amount of lucky bags to 300. Based on my observations, it was sold out in under an hour.
There were two types of Fukubukuro available, this huge plush box and the trading cards bag. In Japan, you would have to go through a lucky draw before you were able to get the happy bags, here in Singapore, we just have to 'Add to Cart' on Shopee.
Since Fukubukuros are 'leftover' stocks that are sold in a mystery bag at a discounted price, the question of are they worth does pop into my mind. The Pokemon Cards 2021 Fukubukuro is sold at SGD 40 with SGD 120 worth of items in it. This larger box of the regular lucky box retails for SGD 120 with SGD 394 worth of items in it.
I'll add up the retail price of all these items and conclude of is the 2021 Pokemon Center Singapore Fukubukuro worth it at the end.
What's in 2021 Pokemon Center Singapore Lucky Bag?
Yamper Plush with Blanket
First off, we have the exclusive Yamper plush with a blanket. In 2021 Pokemon Fukubukuro, you can get a Yamper, a Pikachu or a Scorbunny. This year, they focused on giving us an electric typed Pokemon buddy. I got the adorable Yamper or also known as Wanpachi, an electric Corgi with a heart-shaped bottom. Initially I have no idea who is this but after googling, I can certify that Yamper is a good boy. Yamper soft toy feels much softer than the other Pikachu plushies in the lucky box. The blanket is also suitable for covering your knees to prevent yourself from being upskirted or your knees from turning into ice. The green side to the blanket is super soft and have short fur on it. It is so comfortable to touch.

Life-size Pikachu Plushie
This is my favourite plushie among all of them. It is a life-size Pikachu Plushie. When standing up, it is bigger than the box. It has a tail that is sewed to the body. It is of a suitable soft-hardness as a quality plushie. It costs SGD 89.
Pilot Pikachu + CA (Cabin Attendant) Pikachu
There's a matching pair of Pilot and Cabin Attendant Pikachu in 2021 Fukubukuro Singapore Pokemon Center box. These are Singapore exclusive themed Pikachus. The Pilot Pikachu have a cute Pilot hat with the Pokemon Centre logo on it. It wears a white collared shirt with a red tie accompanying it. It has a navy blue jacket with 4 sewed buttons in the front.
The Cabin Attendant Pikachu have a white and red bow scarf around its neck. It's carrying a grey bag and dressed in a navy blue jacket and pencil skirt.
They both have 'SIN' at the front, representing Singapore and cost SGD 28 each.
Pikachu Soft Toy Riding Lapras
This is a Pokemon Center Singapore exclusive soft toy of the huge mascot at the location. It is of a Pikachu taking a white sling bag riding the Lapras with a blue and white striped bow. On the sling bag, there's a matching patterned red bow. The sling bag also has a brown strap on it. The plush is SGD 49.
Blind Bag Changing T-Shirt - Shuckers eating Curry Rice
I got the Shuckers eating Curry Rice from the T-shirt surprise bag. The shirt is free size and it's suitable for a hot climate. The white seemed a little bit see-through. The Shuckers and curry rice are both red. I like how they even included a spoon and some rice around its mouth.
There are 5 other random designs you can get. 3 of them have different front and back designs on them. The Blind Bag T-Shirt is SGD30.
Multi Smart Phone Cover
This is a multi smartphone cover that has multiple Pikachu all over it. It has a dark blue background colour and at the corner, a Pikachu is holding a raspberry. There's also the words 'Pikachu' embossed in gold.
The Multi Smart Phone Cover have 4 small pockets inside and 1 huge pocket below the 4 pockets. On the other side, there's a sliding component for you to stick your phone or cover on it before sliding it. You can slide it up if you want to use your camera and leave it as it is when you're not taking a photo. This case is SGD49.
Forest Berry Ghost Castle Apron
There's a Ghost Castle item in every box be it a blanket or a bag. I got an adjustable apron. The Forest Berry Ghost Castle Apron is of a cream coloured with Pikachu and Eevee at the chest. At the bottom of the apron, there are various Pokemons collecting flowers and eggs in a bright garden. There are 2 medium-size pockets in the centre of the apron. It has a thick material that protects your clothing from the splashing oil or food.
The Forest Berry Ghost Castle Apron is SGD42
Tomy MewTwo Action Figure
I saw this figure in 2020 Pokemon lucky bag. This figure is a medium-size version of Mewtwo. It has 14 points of articulation points that makes it suitable for a children's toy.
Base on the price I saw online, the Tomy Mewtwo Action Figure is USD 12.99 that converts to SGD 17.17.
Tomy Machamp Action Figure
This action figure was also in 2020 Fukubukuro. They are the Tomy Machamp Action figure from USA. This could be used as a figurine collectable or an action figure for your child. There are 19 points of articulations on the whole figure that makes it more suitable as a plaything.
Base on the price I saw online, the Tomy Machamp Action Figure is USD 12.99 that converts to SGD 17.17
Wobbuffet Series Tin Badge
Lastly is a Wobbuffet series of tin badges. These badges come in 6 different variations in a blind bag. They all have the Wobbuffet party expression. I received the Pikachu and Wobbuffet tin badge. There's no price tag on this item but base on the blind bag tin badges prices here, it should be about SGD 6- $10.
Are Fukubukuro Worth it ?
The 2021 Pokemon Center Singapore Fukubukuro was said to worth SGD 394. It is actually worth SGD 419.34++. That's a steal for its SGD 120 price tag. Just by looking at the price alone, this Fukubukuto is worth it. However, the downside is most of the items in the lucky bag are soft toys. This is great if you're looking for a quality plush but if you want a variety of things, the Singapore Pokemon Lucky Bag might not be your thing.
