Tomorrow I have my interview for the course I want to doThe course is business and computersIt's a two year course10am -1pm Monday to FridayIt really is a big deal for meAs I have been out of education for over ten yearsI wanted to do a computer based courseAs you need computers for everything these days And this course is specifically for adults who are on benefitsSo it suits me down to the ground
I have started countless courses over the yearsAnd never finished any of them Not oneSo I really want to give this one a good goI really want to do as well as I canI know that I have some degree of intelligenceI'm not completely stupid But it was never about thatI always lost confidence in myselfHad a complete crisis of confidence And did what I always doRan as fast as I could In the opposite directionStraight in to the arms of the drugOr my EDAnd of course they were only too glad to have me backThey comforted meSoothed meAnd lured me back in with false promises I fell for it every time
So tomorrow is the first chapter of a fresh startI have my outfit picked outBlack and white trousersWhite t-shirtBlack leather jacketI feel nervousBut preparedAnxiousBut excitedI am really looking forward to learningTo meeting new peopleTo challenging myself To really pushing myself I'm just super duper pumped to do this
