The winter season starts and with it comes dry skin problems. I have tried almost everything to get out of this problem every season. Most of the cold creams are way too sticky and make my skin look super oily. If I go for lighter texture ones, then they fail to keep my skin hydrated.

There are creams that make my skin moisturized but then they last hardly for about 3 hours and then the dryness around especially around the nose comes back. The worst problem is when you want to apply foundation and you don’t have a moisturised base, this not only affects the makeup but also makes my skin look dull even after putting highlighter. I wanted a permanent solution to this. Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay masks have one variant in Hydrating. As the name suggests, it claims to give optimum hydration and removes excess sebum. My experience with Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Mask Hydrating

Product Packaging

The product comes in a blue color squeeze tube with a large black flip open cap. All the necessary details is written on the tube itself. The packaging is very lightweight and can be carried around easily. It has a very user-friendly packaging, dispensing the right amount of product in one go.

Texture and Consistency of Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Mask – Hydrating

The texture of this hydrating clay is very liquidy, in fact it feels just like you are putting a very lightweight cream on your face. So people who hate to put those heavy clay masks would fall in love with this texture. It spreads easily since the consistency is quite runny and gets washed away very easily without scrubbing it hard.

Color and Fragrance of Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Mask Hydrating

The mask is blue pastel coloured, which is similar to the color of the tube. It has a very mild and insignificant smell, not at all like those strong uncomfortable ones. So people with a sensitive nose wouldn’t have an issue while using this product.

Effectiveness:

As I have mentioned the mask spreads very easily and keeping it on for about 10-15 minutes is very comfortable. It gets washed away easily with water without causing much rinsing and scrubbing.

I leave it for about 20 minutes which is way more than the time mentioned on the pack. I do this to get better and effective results since my skin is way drier and dull, especially during winters. I wash it off with normal water. I don’t require any moisturizer after this mask, as it is very hydrating and provides instant moisturization. The formulation of the mask is amazing, as it causes no stretchy or flaky feeling even during the cold weather.

The effect of the mask stays for more than 2 days but it can be used more than 4 times a week since it has very skin friendly formulation, free from harmful chemicals and gentle to use.

The hydrating color clay mask from Innisfree is definitely a boon for people with a dry skin problem, especially during winters. It provides excellent hydration even during winters. My skin feels moisturized and fresh, I can now apply my makeup confidently without worrying about the dryness!
