Hi everyone,
As some of you might know, I’m a huge fan of cloth masks because I find them so easy and convenient to use, there’s little to no mess and they wont leave your skin feeling tight or overly drained like some masks that need to be directly applied onto the skin. So when Indeed Laboratories launched their Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask, I had a feeling that I would be impressed as it combines my love for cloth masks with Hydraluron, a skincare staple for me!
hydraluron™ moisture boosting mask has a 3D enzyme structure which allows for a slow release hyaluronic acid over time, for longer, lasting relief from dry skin. – Indeed Labs
The mask states it can ‘hydrate your skin from beneath the surface for 24 hours of long lasting moisture retention.’ Intended to be used 1-2 times a week, the Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask is the perfect product to use on a pamper night or when you just need a little pick me up for your skin.
Coming in a pack of 4, the masks themselves are made of cloth and soaked in the hyaluronic serum, with the formula similar to Hydraluron itself. When using the mask, there are 4 simple steps to follow:
1. Cleanse and dry face thoroughly.
2. Unfold mask and place over the face. Press in place with fingertips.
3. Relax for 15 minutes. Remove mask.
4. Gently massage in the remaining serum. Follow with a moisturiser.
The mask has a beautiful cool soothing feeling when first applied on the face. The size of the mask is perfect for my face and I didn’t find the mask uncomfortable to wear for the 15 minutes as it wasn’t too wet to the extent that it would slide off my face (which some masks tend to do in the first few minutes after application). After removing the mask after the 15 minutes, I could visibly feel that my skin had soaked up the serum as the mask was left in a much drier state than first applied. There was some serum left on my face and in the packet itself and so I simply massaged the remainder into the skin.
Directly after using the mask, my skin felt amazing - really nourished and it was evident that it was given a great boost of hydration as my skin was left looking and feeling so soft and plump, whilst there was also beautiful glow that was left on the skin.
The best part and what I love about Indeed Laboratories’ products is that they stand true to their claims. The amazing effects of the mask really did continue on for 24 hours and beyond. After using the mask before bed, the next morning saw my skin feeling just as it did the night before with a healthy glow and a feeling of plumpness and hydration. My base makeup (foundation & concealer) when on smoother than ever and where I had any dry patches or flaking prior to using the mask, were now gone and I was left with a beautifully smooth surface. I did also notice that my pores were smaller and less noticeable after using the mask.
This product is yet another one of my favourites from Indeed Laboratories and I would definitely highly recommend it! At $29.99 for a box of 4 masks, it is a bit too pricey for myself to use as a weekly treat for my skin but this product is definitely one I will always have in my skincare stash to use when I want my skin to look amazing for a party or event and when my skin just needs a bit of a pick me up.
The Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask from Indeed Laboratories are available at Priceline for $29.99 (box of 4).
