Game Notes: Andrew Lambo hit his 13th home run of the year for Indianapolis, and his 27th of the season. He also had a clutch two RBI single later in the game that helped lead to a seven run comeback. Lambo was slumping in early July, but is heating back up, going 11-for-34 with two doubles and four homers in his last ten games. Matt Hague picked up his 30th double of the year. He now has 30+ doubles in four of his five full pro seasons.
Just curious what everyone thinks of this kid. Seems as if he is putting up some decent numbers. What is keeping him from getting a look with the Bucs? Can't imagine that he at least wouldn't get a Sept. call-up. We have a lot of future depth in the OF it appears. At some point, one of these prospects will be very valuable in the trade market, even if it means they will be pushing a starter out.
