IFB PROJECT #48: SUMMER STYLE KICK OFF!
Summer is fast approaching (kind of) and soon exams will be over and it will be time to hang up your parka and don your gladiator sandals.
Here are some of my favorite items for summer:
Garnier Summer Body
This is perfect for getting ready to bare skin in summer! I’ve never once had a streak in six years of using this and the color is great - not fake or orange at all, and as a plus it leaves your skin silky soft!
St Moriz
1 word: ESSENTIAL! I discovered St Moriz about 4 years ago and have been an addict ever since. I used to splash out on St Tropez but as a student, one has to be slightly more frugal and it turns out St Moriz is the same as St Tropez in almost every way - except for the price tag! At around £2.99 a bottle it’s an absolute bargain! Apply with a mitt about an hour before bed (it is stained so you can see what you’re doing when you apply) then wash the residue off in the morning and say hello to a lovely tan! When you wash the top-coat off, you also lose the horrible biscuity fake tan smell so nothing to worry about there either! I literally cannot survive the summer without this!
Neutrogena Daily Defense moisturiser 30spf
Unfortunately it seems this product is only available in America so I always ask my dad to pick it up for me when he goes over on business. This moisturiser is lightly tinted and with 30spf it is absolutely perfect as a light summer alternative to foundation or your normal tinted moisturiser.
Natural Collection pressed powder & coral nail varnish and Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Coral is my color for summer! So pretty and looks great with everything when the sun is shining! Natural Collection has long been a favorite of mine, probably due to the price, but also the great range of colours and products they offer. Pressed powder is also a summer essential - light enough to wear during the day, it’s perfect for just finishing off your look when you’re out and about, finish with a couple of strokes of Benefit’s Hoola bronzer for a sunkissed look!
Lipbalm
Nivea is my favorite lipbalm as it’s so great at keeping my lips moisturised! An spf lipbalm is even better to avoid burnt lips in the sun!
Mascara
My newest mascara is Max Factor Falsh Lash Effect and I love it! The brush is more like a rounded comb and separates the lashes whilst making them really long and thick! One or two coats for the daytime (depending on how thick/dark you like) and add a couple more for a more sultry look come evening!
Happy sunning!
