I’m turning 30 in 5 months.
Did I just say that out loud?! It seems unreal.
I had been thinking about how I want to celebrate. I live in Vegas, so I could go out and have a crazy night with partying, drinks, and terrible decisions. I could have a quiet night in with my boyfriend and dog. But then I realized: I want to be my healthiest at 30 years old. I want to start this chapter in my life feeling and looking good. So I’ve decided:
I’m going to run my first HALF MARATHON!
It’ll make me get back into working out and eating healthy, and it’s a really great goal to work toward. It’ll make my 30th memorable (& in a good way).
I’ve decided to run the San Diego Beach & Bay Half Marathon on April 14, 2018 (my birthday is April 5). I love SD, so it’s the perfect half for me to do! I’m really excited to train over the next 5 months. I’m excited to get stronger and faster. To eat for my body and fuel, and to lose some weight in the process. To make my body feel ALIVE again!
