French model and designer Jeanne Damas is one of the few people I follow for style inspiration. With comparisons to Jane Birkin and Charlotte Gainsbourg, her style is a combination of polish and laidback ease. She always looks well put together sticking with classic components that often have a touch of vintage inspired flare. This chic look is her "winter uniform" of jeans, boots, and an oversize blazer for good measure which she also says is her formula for getting dressed in under 10 minutes. Well it certainly works and looks great. I wear a similar type of uniform and can attest to it's foolproof ease. Never underestimate the power of a good blazer or coat to pull an outfit together. It's certainly no surprise that she has her own fashion brand Rouje which specializes in pieces that embrace timeless style with a touch feminine charm.
