Until I saw Tracey Clark make her portraits so beautiful and unique, I used to think these self portrait things were sort of conceited. I mean who posts a bunch of pictures about yourself!? Then I thought… but isn’t that what Facebook is about?
I am adding this read by Leah on Tracey’s blog because she talks at length and makes a delcaration that says : “I am Enough. “

Hmmm …. so I sort of like the idea of making art into ME. Plus, last night I had an awesome dream I got a really high-tech camera for myself and I was crying and screaming and absolutely elated! ;0) It was unforgettable. Maybe I am winding up for something BIG!

Here’s another…
"Excited Me."
I sometimes like my portraits that show glimpses of me, more than they show myself. In other words, I like them to show the playful side of me. I was playing at the pond around the corner one day, and found this lovely reflection:
and played with it until I found myself in the picture, as well. of course, the colors were not as rich, or I would be RED… but they are beautiful.
Love how the curls fall in my face…
