Hujoo Baby Review.

By Afamiliarillusion

So this is a review of the Hujoo Baby doll, and my personal experience with The Junky Spot, where I bought my Hujoo Baby Suve. I assume this will go for all the Hujoo Baby dolls as the only differences between them are their face sculpts.

I live in The United States and I bought her last Monday morning online and  (IM)patiently waited for her until she got here on Thursday. Which is pretty reasonable for the US Postal service. I got her for a great price that included her strung head and body with the factory faceup, her really nice blonde wig, her blue plastic eyes, and her stock outfit. She came with all her accessories separately packaged in a box filled with styrofoam peanuts and also came with a cute little charm and a piece of candy.

This is the box her blank body came in. It has a lovely cushion to keep her safe.

I got the apricot skin color. She can stand on her own and is the perfect size for a 1/12 scale dollhouse.

Her arms are very poseable, but her hip joints do wired things…they have these nubs on the ball joint that I assume are for locking for standing, but they make the legs angle too far back. I also don’t like how much her stomach pokes out and her back arches. I wish she would sit/stand up straighter. But real babies do the same thing so I guess that makes sense. One eye hole is also larger than the other. It’s not that noticeable, but it’s there.

Here you can see what I mean about how she arches back. It annoys me, but you can’t tell at all when she is wearing clothes.

This is the inside of her head. I crudely used sticky tack to fix the eyes in. I later found the eye putty in amongst the peanuts. XD

This is her stock outfit. A pink shirt and a white jumper.

Despite the few flaws she has, I still really love her and would definitely recommend her as a cheaper substitute for a Lati Yellow, or just as a really sweet addition to your collection. She was amazingly easy to make my own and has inspired me to do so many things! Here she is sitting on the couch I made her. This is the first couch I’ve ever made so it’s a bit rough, but my next project I will know what to better.

Here is just the couch. I used cardboard, fabric, stuffing, and a hot glue gun!

And here is a close up of the shoes I made her while watching tv tonight.

Thanks so much for reading! If you want to know more about anything in my posts just leave a comment and I will go more into detail about it.
