How to (Safely) Remove Cuticles

In prep for my next shellac manicure I am sorting out my nails, and making them healthy. This means I am oiling them everyday and checking cuticles. So as it turns out my cuticles were in need of some TLC so my mom gave me a little mini manicure and I thought I would tell you how she removed my cuticles painlessly. So first cleansed my nails thoroughly and soaked them in warm water for about 5 mins. This just softens the cuticles and makes them easier to work with. Then you need a cuticle stick and you just want to push back the cuticle, gently, until they are as far back as they will go. Now you need a pair of nail sissors, and you just want to make tiny little snips all the way round the base of the nail and the loosen the cuticle. This doesn't hurt at all, if it does you are taking the sissors to far back. Then you just take some nail clippers and clip away the snipped cuticles. Cutting them first will just make the cuticles easier to get to and will mean you can do a more thorough job. Finally I put on some cuticle oil and just let that sit for 5 minutes before I rubbed it in. Easyy peasy.
Thank you, how do you remove/look after your cuticles?
See you soon. Love Allie x x x x
