1.Do not wash your hair daily.Wash it every alternate day.I just shampoo my hair twice a week.This helps the natural oil from our scalp to keep our hair moisturized.
2.Shampoo your hair with a SLS free shampoo.Specially if your hair is dry.
3.Sometimes when your scalp gets oily you may try using dry shampoo or sprinkle some baby powder on your scalp and then comb it off.Its not needed to shampoo hair so often
4.After shampoo use wash-off conditioner and then hair serum.
5.Use homemade hair masks such as honey,banana mask,coconut milk or cucumber juice.
6.Do hot oil massage one to two times a week depending on how dry your hair is.
7.Use less heat.Avoid using straighteners,hair dryers or curlers.Use a heat protection spray or serum before using them.Straightening hair makes it look shiny but using it often can damage your hair.
8.Eat vitamin E and B3 rich foods such as Eggs,bananas and fish.
9.Eat lots of green vegetables,fruits and drink at least eight glasses of water daily.
10.Avoid using styling products on your hair.
11.Use a clarifying shampoo for removing product build up from your hair.But do not use it too often as it may dry out your hair.
12.Mix one part of apple cider vinegar with two parts of water and pour it on you head after you shampoo your hair.This will remove excess product build up and keep your hair shiny
