Feet are the window to your personality. And thus a clean and soft foot ensures that the women are also equally healthy and confident. A good quality pedicure is what we all love. but the problem is that we all think that good quality pedicure might cost a lot. But that is false. A good quality pedicure is not always done at the salon only. You can do the same at home also and enjoy your hospitality.

Firstly, let’s look at some of the most basic ingredients which you need to do a pedicure at home

  1. Pumice Stone
  2. Warm water
  3. Nail cutter
  4. Nail paint
  5. Nail polish remover
  6. Cuticle cream
  7. Epsom salt
  8. Moisturizing foot cream
  9. Cotton pads
  10. Nail file
  11. Foot scrub
  12. Clean towel
  13. Cuticle pusher

So, let’s find out how to do a good quality pedicure at home

Remove the  nail paint

This is the first and foremost step. If you are a nail paint lover, then, of course, you can apply the nail paint regularly. But at least keep some gap. Make sure that you leave your nails at least one week without any nail paint. Use your regular nail paint remover to remove the nail paint.

Shape your nails

This is the time to cut the excess of your nail has grown. And then clean your nails and then shape them. Be gentle here and it is always advisable to keep your nails short. This will ensure that any kind of dirt doesn’t enter your nail.

Apply the Cuticle Cream

Cuticle cream ensures that your cuticles remain soft for a longer time. Cuticle cream moisturizes your feet. Also, you can use olive oil on your cuticles. It will also do the same job.

Relax Your feet

Now, this is where the actual pedicure session begins. Soak some Epsom salt into the warm water. You can use your favorite shampoo as well. now, dip your feet and let it soak and you relax for a minimum of 20 minutes. You can also add some fresh flowers inside the tub too.

Use the foot scrub

Now, it begins the time of cleaning. Use a foot scrub and let it rest for some time. Check the manual or leave it for 5-10 minutes. Use a foot scrubber and scrub it gently but make sure that the dead skin cells are well cleaned.

Massage your feet

This is the time where you need to massage your feet very lightly. Tap various points on your feet and then massage it with light hands. You can also use any essential oil of your choice to massage your feet.

Moisturize

This is a major step. After the pedicure, your feet need a good moisturizing foot cream. So, make sure that you moisturize thoroughly. Use good quality and rich foot cream.

Apply the nail paint

And finally, when you are done apply the nail paint of your choice. My suggestion is to keep your nails bare. But if you have a special occasion coming up then you can go ahead and apply the nail paint of your choice.

Apply the final coat

And this is the time to apply the final coat. Apply a shinier coat at the top to get the best out of your nail paint.

And then finally sit back and relax. This is the time when you need to look at your beautiful feet and then cherish them. You must understand that stress is a major factor and thus it is very important to relax and thus the same will show up on your skin too.
