If we were going to be serious about stalking L.A. celebrity sites, and why wouldn’t we be, we couldn’t leave town without taking a trip to Hollywood Boulevard. After all, most celebrities of any stature have made their own pilgrimage up the red-carpeted Boulevard to the Dolby Theater on Oscar night.
But being here when Oscar is in town is completely unnecessary. Even during the year’s other 364 days, it’s still a place to see some of the world’s biggest stars. Like Godzilla; flanked, of course, by his ever-present sidekick, Spiderman.
So powerful is the magic of Hollywood that it is even possible to take photos alongside your favorite dead celebrity.
Or to capture autographs resurrected from the career graveyard.
Which, as you’d expect, is protected by Foo Dogs who guard the sacred signatures and handprints in front of Hollywood’s Chinese Theater.
And finally, after a long day of star gazing, we stopped for one last glance at that most iconic of all images: the Hollywood Cross.
