Last weekend we attended another one of our monthly 'Friends Dinner' parties.I have written before about them HERE and HERE.Our gatherings are made up of three couplesand each month we take turns hosting a dinner party. This month we dined in Historic Downtown San Juan Capistranoat the gorgeous home of the Fitts.
For the occasion I chose a dress with a ball skirtand piled on my collected turquoise and blanket wrap as a sartorial tribute to one of my favorite areas!
If you ever find yourself in South Orange County CaliforniaI highly recommendHistoric Downtown San Juan Capistranonot only for all of the history and beautybut these days it is becoming a mecca for new restaurants as well!
My accessory collections have come together over years of collecting.Right now I am loving turquoise mixed with hand made wooden bracelets.I keep a modern flair with updated sunglasses.
How absolutely adorable is this dining space!Stacey and her husband David built the property from the ground up.Her choice for alfresco dining made my heart sing!!
Stacey has a background of being one of Orange County's top wedding florists(you can see her gorgeous business feed HERE).and it completely showed with her freshly colored alfresco table settingsin their fabulous private yard!
Stacey's menu theme was done around blood orangesincluding this fabulous appetizer with burrata cheese, blood oranges and basil topped with pine nuts.
It was a magical evening of dining with good friends and good foodall outside with a rising full moon!An enchanting evening in
Historic Downtown San Juan Capistrano
to be sure!
As always my my friends
