Himalaya Herbals Aloe & Cucumber Refreshing Moisturizer

I hope everyone is doing good. It has been raining here from the past few days and so much so suddenly the sun shows up.. The weather is horrible and is making everyone sick now. What about your city? Anyhow my today's review is a body lotion called Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Moisturizer in Aloe and Cucumber. I had  won this in a giveaway hosted by Radha Krishnakumar of  Indian Beauty Zone. I have used it quite a lot and hence I can comfortably say what I think about it....

Price: Rs.80/- for 100ml.

Ingredients and what the company has to say:





The bottle comes in their signature green and white plastic packaging. The body is white and the cap is green. The cap is a flip one, my favorite. I do not like screw caps, they are a pain.All the information about the product is mentioned behind the bottle.The lotion is travel friendly and can easily be carried around. In short the packaging is simple and neat. The only con I find is that when you squeeze the bottle to get the product out  you end up squeezing more than required which is kind of a product wastage but if you are careful like me that won't happen. I hope the packaging improves on that aspect.

The color of the lotion is white in color. It is mentioned on the packaging that Natural herbal formulations tend to change color over time. However the product efficacy remains unchanged which is true. So far I have not had any issue with the color changing but if it does nothing to worry. This one of the best moisturizer I have used so far. The lotion is neither too runny nor too thick, just the way I like it. It is moisturizing enough and does a nice job. It is meant to be for all skin types and I reckon this is the best moisturizer one can invest in especially in summers and not so cold weather. It works even in winter but I think those who have  extereme dry skin due to the harsh winter climate this might not work for them to its full potential. The lotion smells heavenly just like cucumber. Aloe vera is supposed to be a miracle for skin care and it is one of the key ingredients . The lotion is cooling on application and gives you that fresh feeling. The smell lingers for a long time which I like. I do like smelling good :D

The Good:

Inexpensive.
Easily available.
Refreshing & cooling.
Nice consistency.
Lovely smell.
Hypoallergenic.

The not so Good:

May not work those with extremely dry skin.
Packaging can be improved.
Contains parabens.

This is one of the best cooling, refreshing and moisturizing lotion available in the market in my opinion.I love Himalaya Herbals products though some may be a hit or miss but  this one surely works for me. I highly recommend everyone to give it a try.
