Happy New Year to you all and I hope that you had a lovely time celebrating the start of 2013 with your loved ones! We did our usual of watching the Hogmanay television coverage with a drink in hand and it was lovely to spend a relaxing night at David's, the perfect way to see in the new year in my eyes at least.
2012 was without a doubt the quickest year I have experienced and looking back it's safe to say it was another good one. It was the year of celebrating my 20th birthday, getting stuck into yet more uni work, coming to the end of my contract at Boots, job-hunting, celebrating David's 21st with a surprise break to Edinburgh (and the chicken pox unfortunately), our 3rd anniversary, being accepted into my Honours year at university, a well needed holiday in Turkey with David, getting a new job which I love, starting my final year of university and feeling the dissertation stress.
As I type this I couldn't be feeling more content with my life and I'm just looking forward to what 2013 has in store. I just know that this is going to be a great year! But first there's still my dissertation to finish, graduation and the hunt for a full time job. And turning 21 of course! I've not made any resolutions this year as I never tend to keep them anyway but right now I'm just trying to muster up as much motivation as I can to finish these essays, while trying not to binge on too much chocolate from the pile of Christmas choccies that is currently sitting in my room.
Hopefully 2013 can be a good one for everyone!
