It's always happy to know that your best friends are getting married. I feel their joy when I know that and double the happiness when they asked me to be their sister. I've known the girls for 13 years and we've been through so much. Really heart-warming to see the girls settling down very soon. (:
So we planned a simple girly Hens' (Hands) Party for the 2 brides to be! I suggested Manicure and pedicure party since we had little time on hand and we haven't done anything memorable in a long while.
We had our Hens' Party at The Nail Social where we had the cosy place to ourselves for 3 hours. Tucked away in the happening Haji Lane, The Nail Social allows us to be on our own, away from the bustling city for a little while.
I love the place. It is a two-storey attic-like shop, very cosy and pretty much like an apartment. I was really thankful to have the space as they had to shift some of their appointments due to their busy schedule on the weekends. To add on, we were quite last minute in the booking.
Each of us filled up a form about our nails preferences on their Ipad before we begin the session. The brides to be had Luxe Manicure which includes mud-spa while the rest of us had Signature Manicure which includes scrub and light massage. It was really a very pampering session for all of us!
Due to the limited number of manicurists, the rest of the girls chilled at one cosy corner, eating cupcakes and chatting away while waiting for us patiently. Yes, 12 cupcakes were provided for us.
The package also included a bottle of wine. The girls weren't a fan of the wine as it was pretty bitter. But the experience was really unique. Who would have thought that we could actually have wine in the nail salon?
I'm really glad the girls had lots of fun that morning!

Of course, the brides had to wear the sash out to Haji Lane. lol.
The hens' party was nothing crazy, just manicure, cupcakes, wine and us. :)
