Some of the goods I bought this week actually made me squeal with delight. Something I never, ever do. But when you are on a hunt for an limited edition Chanel lipstick and you get the last one between Macys, Belk and Nordstrom, you get pretty excited. By the way, if you are looking for Chanel's Pygmalion at Lenox or Phipps in Atlanta, good luck.
1.) Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Pygmalion and Stylo Eyeshadow in Blue Bay. Nordstrom and Belk were out of Pygmalion, plus informed me that they would not be getting another shipment. So my disheartened self tried Macy's. After a while of searching, the last tube was found. Hallelujah chorus, anyone?
2.) After weeks of resisting the urge to buy the new textured Sally Hansen polish, I finally caved. And picked up the new Sonia Kashuk Monochrome quad in Taupe.
3.) Of course no shopping trip is complete without going to Sephora. My mom got this Shiseido skincare set and the Guerlain BB cream, which looks very promising. I got some colorful hair ribbons, the new Dr. Jart CC Essence Balm and Josie Maran's Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee in Pink Escape.
4.) And I had to stop by Lush to get some bubble bars. I really wish I would have gotten Ro's Argan Oil while I was there. Oh well. My mom got the "French Kiss" and I got "Ma Bar."
5.) Nordstrom and Belk. At Nordstrom, my mom bought Shiseido's Translucent Powder and one of Guerlain's new lip glosses. At Belk, we got Lancome's Color Design Palette in Rose Coquette and one of the new Gloss in Love glosses.
I really wanted to try one of Clarins' new Crystal Lip Balm, but no one had it. A lot of the stores around here are really bad about getting any new Clarins products in, which is disappointing. But it did stop me from spending extra money :)
