Has Jay Bell's Time Ended?

By Kipper @pghsportsforum
It's no secret that the Pirates have struggled with the bats.
McCutchen has taken half a season to get his average up around .300.
Everyone else is struggling.
Marte has watched his average fall to .275. After that, everyone else is struggling.
I don't normally call for a coaches job. The players have to do their part. But this is an epidemic. Everyone on the team is struggling. It's not just with RISP. It's every at bat.
Yesterday, the Bucs fanned 13 times.
The entire team is failing as hitters.
I believe that Bell has brought an approach to hitting that doesn't sit well.
McCutchen has seeming lost his power, Jones has very little power now. Sanchez is hitting under .230.
The only guy on the team that seems to be himself, is Alvarez.
I don't know that they can get out of it fast enough, but the sooner, the better.
Jay Bell, it's time for you to go.
