The packaging really sucked me in. It stands out from other drugstore brands and I think it's cute and edgy.
Living Doll looks like it would be a gorgeous bright pink with gold veining. Unfortunately, looks can be deceiving. When swiped a few times with fingers, it feels very smooth and even gives a really pretty pink sheen. If not a blush, then it could at least pass as a highlight, right?
Stilll wrong. When actually blended out a little, it gives no pigmentation. It just looks like a powdery mess.
As you can see, most of the pink sheen is gone, and all you have left is...powder. It literally looks like nothing on my face, with a little bit of glitter.
So unfortunately, this product was a disappointment for me. I wanted it to work so badly just because it looks so pretty in the pan, so thankfully I found another use for it thats somewhat workable. Since it's summer, I've been using it to set my matte cream blushes--it gives them a slight sheen and makes them last a little bit longer.
So although I can't use it as a straight blush, at least I found some use for it. If you are interested in trying it for yourself, you can find this at Wal-Mart for $6-$7.
I probably won't be purchasing this again though. Not a shining star for me.
