EVEN-STRENGTH SCORING PLAYS PER-60
This graph reflects the number of successful scoring plays each player produced per-minute played. Scoring-plays used in this calculation include; offensive-zone loose-puck recoveries, shots, passes to the slot, and dekes.
Among defensemen with significant ice-time, PK Subban contributed the most even-strength scoring-plays per-60 during games that occurred both before and after the Olympics, as well as during the playoffs.
Among centres, Lars Eller produced the most scoring-plays per-60 in games that occurred both before and after the Olympics, while Briere produced the most during the playoffs.
Among wingers, Max Pacioretty contributed the most scoring-plays per-60 before the Olympics, after the Olympics, and during the playoffs.

Players must be directly involved in the production of a scoring-chance in order to be credited.
Among defensemen with significant ice-time, PK Subban contributed the most even-stength scoring-chances per-60 chances during games before and after the Olympics, as well as during the playoffs.
Among centres, David Desharnais produced the most scoring-chances per-60 in games that occurred both before and after the Olympics, while Briere produced the most during the playoffs.
Among wingers, Max Pacioretty contributed the most scoring-chances per-60 before the Olympics, while Thomas Vanek had the highest total after the Olympics. The most scoring-chances per-60 during the playoffs was contributed by Rene Bourque.
POINTS PER-60
Among defensemen with significant ice-time, PK Subban contributed the most even-strength points per-60 during games before and after the Olympics, as well as during the playoffs.
Among centres, David Desharnais produced the most points per-60 in games that occurred both before and after the Olympics, while Eller produced the most during the playoffs.
Among wingers, Max Pacioretty contributed the most points per-60 both before and after the Olympics, while Bourque had the most during the playoffs.
As a team, Montreal averaged their highest even-strength scoring plays per-60 total in games that occurred during the playoffs. That said, their average ES scoring-chance and points per-60 totals occurred in regular season games that occurred after the Olympics.
Thirteen of the Canadiens 24 players with adequate sample sizes produced their highest scoring-plays per-60 totals, their highest scoring-chances per-60 total, and their highest points per-60 total in the same portion of the season (before Olympics/after Olympics/playoffs).
