Guest Post - Luv My Lacquer

Hi everyone!! Today, I have a guest post to share with you from Jess of LuvMyLacquer. I've been a huge fan of her nails for a long time and I'm so happy to have her sharing on Polish Obsession.
Hello Lacquer Luvers! My name is Jessica AKA Mrs LuvMyLacquer and I'm beyond excited to be featured as a guest here today on Polish Obsession! I have had the honor of watching Marisa's blog grow pretty much since she's started and it I'm truly happy that she asked me to guest post during her 2 year blogaversary. Marisa, congratulations on reaching this milestone and I surely know I speak for everyone else when I say we can't wait to see what you have in store for us for years to come!

Today's manicure features two of favorite things: pink nail polish and glitter! I began with a basecoat of Essie Feed Me followed by two coats of Bettina 187 on my pinky, index and thumb and two coats of Bettina Marshmallow on my accent fingers.Then I used a makeup sponge and Bettina's Silk, Giacinto & 187 to create a gradient on my accent nails. It took me three times to get the gradient opaque.
Once that was completely dry I applied one coat of a pink glitter topper by Pop Culture Cosmetics called PiNK to all my nails. PiNK is made up of a light pink tinted base with varying glitters that range from small dots in light and hot pink, large pink holographic dots, and tiny pink and scattered holo glitter. The formula was very easy to manage although I couldn't get the larger dots on my brush. My manicure was complete with a coat of HK Girl topcoat.

Overall I'm very happy with the way this manicure came out. I only wish that my gradient came out a little better. I have a hard time getting the sides with my chunky fingers lol!
