Gold Notting Hill, London. Gold, a new neighborhood restaurant and late-night bar open on Portobello Road, Notting Hill.

Gold Notting Hill is a four-floor entertainment experience space in Portobello Road. An open kitchen with a garden filled with trees and in case of too much sunshine a retractable roof.  As the restaurant moves up the floors, more dining areas and a private room on the upper floors offer so many options to the type of entertainment you are looking for.

Portuguese artist Vhils was commissioned to create works for Gold, including a pavement-to-roof piece outside. Inside Gold the team is led by Chef Theo Hill (ex-River Cafe) and FOH staff Alex Ghalleb (Pizza East) and Arez Akgundogdu (Soho House).

The modern bohemian interiors, from local architect and design duo Felix and Valerie von Bechtolsheim, draw on Portobello’s once-thriving industrial past to create a restaurant and bar that is both informal and open.

The stripped back aesthetic exposes the original shell of the building for a raw look, while the contrasting industrial-luxe details, contemporary furniture, aged metals and vast indoor trees soften the space creating a warm, welcoming environment.
