By Shoppingaholic @shoppingaholicc

Looking for inspiration to gift your loved ones but also thinking about choosing an ethical approach? SSU is consciously moving towards choosing the 'sustainable' way of living, and here is a guide for those who choose to shower their loved ones ethically.

What Is Sustainable/ethical way of living and why?

To supply the demand of consumers, brands and companies produced and produced without stopping. The trend has continued! But as the world is awakening, we are becoming more and more conscious of not making the world a dumpster. This awakening is called an 'ethical' or 'sustainable' way to live (on this planet), to shop, to sell, to gift...
Ethical living is the philosophy of making decisions for daily life which take into account ethics and moral values, particularly with regard to consumerism, sustainability, environmentalism, wildlife and animal welfare.

Sustainable living is a lifestyle that attempts to reduce an individual's or society's use of the Earth's natural resources and personal resources. Practitioners of sustainable living often attempt to reduce their carbon footprint by altering methods of transportation, energy consumption, and diet.

I found this really cool pyramid 'Ethical Hierarchy of  Gift Purchasing' which I think could be hepful in taking a step towards ethical living!
