Well, now, you're about to see a Blogger hopping on the bandwagon, after Leesa kindly gifted me with one of their beautiful mattresses.
First off, let's talk about Leesa. The brand ambassador for Leesa is Michael Phelps and is expertly made. Designed with three layers of high quality foam to give bounce, pressure relief and core support.
Each mattress has a 5cm memory foam layer and 5cm cooling avena foam alongside the 15cm core support, making this a whopping 25cm.
So what did I think?
ORDERING
Leesa provided me with a discount code to use at the checkout (which was to the value of the mattress) so that I could see how easy and straight forward ordering my mattress was.
It was really simple - I picked the Queen size mattress from the options and was thrilled to see FREE DELIVERY!! I know it doesn't seem like such an issue when you're spending a significant amount of money on a mattress, but having free delivery really makes ALL the difference - I regularly add £200 of makeup to my shopping bag then cancel it when I see I will have to pay £4 delivery and I know I'm not alone!
ARRIVAL
I expected delivery to take a week or so, but this arrived at my door within 4 days. Most shockingly was how compact the Mattress was! It arrived, rolled up and sealed in a box which was not much bigger than my Christmas Tree box haha! It's the only comparison I could think of!
The box is pretty heavy and the poor delivery man had to come down a steep hill to deliver it haha! He did politely wish me sweet dreams though!
EASE OF USE
With the help of my Dad (hence the man's hand in the pictures), we carried this upstairs into my room where we unrolled the mattress into position before removing the plastic coverings.
Over the course of a few hours we saw the mattress rise and expand to it's full capacity. We left it to air for a few hours before dressing it.
When bedtime arrived (10.30pm on the dot. Party animal.) I was so excited to get into bed! There's no nicer feeling than having fresh sheets until you have a new mattress to go with it! I instantly could feel a huge difference in comfort. Normally, I'd spend the night avoiding springs that had popped through so it was quite a relief not having to do that.
I can't deny, I didn't sleep too well the first night. My legs and back were a bit achy because I was sleeping in positions that I wasn't used to thanks to not having a few springs to avoid! Even lying awake though, I must say, was heavenly comfortable.
VERDICT
After two days, I can safely say I am sleeping better and longer than I did before thanks to this mattress - I have to set my alarm each day now haha! the aches disappeared within a day or two and I must say I even enjoy lounging on it when I'm blogging - like, maybe, right now - haha!
It's been two months since receiving this. I really wanted to see how I got on with it and I'm definitely sold. I love it.
After reading a bit more about Leesa, I also learned that they give back. One in every 10 mattresses is donated and they partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant a tree for every Mattress they sell.
I was gifted this mattress, but this normally costs £590 at Leesa.com (payment options are available)
Will you be switching your mattress?
