Get Your Chill Fix This Summer with Game-Changing Milk Tea Flavors

By Rayrose Camille Samson @itsrayrose
Milk teas have been alluring options during hot summer days. However, despite many available milk tea choices, a new store adds a unique and tasteful element to this summer staple.

“La+Tearia” a combination of the Italian word “latteria” which means “dairy” and the English word “tea,” revolutionize the milk tea game by redefining the concept of shaved dairy and tea drinks through its “Dairyliciously Good” fusions of brewed tea and dairy flavors.
Crafted from bold-flavored dairy and infused with the finest, fruity ingredients, every bite of the shaved ice delivers the refreshment you need. La + Tearia also delivers a colorful line-up of classic and modern flavors, offering waves of refreshing drinks filled with fruity tastes split into two series, “Shaved Milk Tea,” which starts at P89 and “Double Shaved Dairy,” P95. In each category, the shop features its top-selling drinks, “Signature Milk Tea” and the “Go Mango,” respectively.

The shop’s signature milk drink is whipped from a storm of flavors containing rock salt and cheese, and shaved milk tea – the best part of the frozen dessert. Café la + tearia, meanwhile, tantalizes people’s taste buds by offering smooth, iced milk ribbons with a black brewed coffee blend topped with coffee jelly and drizzled with condensed milk.
Along with the featured desserts, the creamy goodness extends to the shop’s Shaved Milk Tea Series. It aims to perfect brewed tea and dairy blends by combining familiar, well-loved flavors of Dark Chocolate, Thai Milk Tea, Strawberry and Matcha with milk tea. This tea series also has the additional benefit of holding its rich flavors even when it has melted.
La + Tearia’s Double Shaved Dairy Series, on the other hand, offers a delicious fusion of smooth iced milk ribbons and high-quality flavors showered with their complimentary toppings like fresh diced mangoes, beans, jams, belgian chocolate syrup and sweet condensed milk. Titles of the line include “chocolatte”, “go mango”, “gotcha matcha” and “strawberries and cream.”
La + Tearia co-owners, Chef Gerick Manalo and Jeri James Fazunila, together with celebrity friend Marlo Mortel, graced the grand opening through a ceremonial ribbon cutting in March. The shop opens its doors to everyone, especially those who have a sweet tooth, inviting them to try its colorful, creative concoctions. It is also equipped with the best kitchen tools, especially that BEKO PHILIPPINES, the Official Partner of the Everyday, is one of their sponsors for kitchen needs.
Visit their store at Leon Guinto St., Malate, Manila, and tickle your taste buds with its wide selection of milk teas.
