Get Them While You Can: Sephora's Midnight Magic Glitter Pots

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
These little pots of magic were released as part of the Sephora Collection's Holiday lineup last year. I was always curious about them, but never bought one. Now I have two of them. They are on sale for $10, so you will want to get them while you still can. The holographic one is out of stock, but it goes in and out.

Here is the description on Sephora's site:

"This subtle reflecting powder can be used year-round. The refined shimmer adds multidimensional shade that enhances any skintone without looking too glittery. The jar’s unique trampoline component minimizes mess and product waste, allowing for touch ups anywhere for a festive, luminous glow"
The holographic one is delightfully subtle. It is a mix of white, pink, and blue shimmer that really shows up in the sunlight. It is absolutely stunning! It packs a punch without being intense. I used it on my cheekbones yesterday and loved it. I also applied a little bit of it on my mom, who is a little bit darker than I am. It didn't show up quite as well on her, so it might not work as well on medium and deeper skin tones. The rose gold and gold would look amazing, though.

The second one I got is rose gold, which is equally stunning. It is a very sheer and subtle copper with gold iridescent shimmer throughout. The only place I would be able to use this is in on my eyes. It is a little bit too warm for me to use anywhere else. However, it is a great shadow topper.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get a picture to really do these powders justice. You get a general idea of what they look it, but you really need to see them in person.

The texture of these powders is great. They are finely milled and feel soft. They don't feel gritty and the shimmer is small. The packaging is really awesome, too. The sifter on it is very unique. They refer to it as a trampoline style and it is really neat. It isn't as messy as traditional sifters and the product comes out easily. Another amazing feature is the labels on the cap. The color matches the shade and they change a little in the sun. For instance in indoor lighting, the holographic one looks silver. But in the sun, you can see a little pink and blue. You can see it in some of the pictures I took.

I know those aren't the best pictures, but you get an idea of how lovely the holographic one is as a highlighter.
They are perfect for holiday season and whatever events you might be going to. They would also be great for summer. They are $10 right now (previously $10) and you get 0.25 oz of product. I just wanted to do a quick blog post about these powders so you don't miss out on them.
