Game Observations -- Thank Goodness for a W

NFL officials pls put another official in the booth who has authority to make calls.
Here are the ones they missed in no particular order
Illegal man downfield on bengals on the INT by timmons. Granted we got ball.
Face mask on bengals DB and on the attempted pass to Coates in End zone which was not called.
should have been another 15 yrd penalty on shot to head by Burfect in 1st half on rodgers. Ben complained vigorously but to no avail.
other observations.
1st and foremost. GIve a game ball to Roosevelt Nix that guy can really block and sure does help. I don't remember him playing too much in 1st 4-5 games can anyone comment on that ?
At 3:03 mark of 4th q why don't you run the clock down another 10 seconds instead of snapping ball w 17 secs left on play clock (not a huge deal but we need to bleed clock
all we can in those situations).
Coates pls know game time situation he could have saved us a Timeout toward end of 2nd Q by getting out of bounds
to allow pitt not to call a TO. Take a lesson from Bell on this one who smartly stayed in bounds near 2:05 mark of 4th q by staying in bounds and keeping clock moving.
Bell nice job on dropping pass when you were behind line of scrimmage when Burfect was right in front of you and play would have been a loss in last 5 min of 4th q.
Eli great route running on TD. And also great route by AB on his apparent TD but it was called back.
I'm glad we have a solid guard backup in BJ finney (sp on name?)
Dupree sure does make a difference on D. Wow he's quite and able to set the edge.
Just think if we had Tuitt in there.
ITs amazing to me that the D seems to have gotten better since we lost heyward (maybe quicker rushes by LB's Or opens up space). I certainly don't contend to know D schemes but whatever they are doing its working.
While coates did a good KO return he just doesn't seem to be able to high point any balls or fight for a ball when its in the air like brown does.
I am so sick and tired of the dirty plays after the whistle by bengals. Pls NFL do something bout the bengals its very sad to watch. I just hope we don't have any lingering injuries for next week. Its very very telling that this all happens under marvin lewis total lack of discipline which makes this victory all the sweeter indeed.
