Time for a marquee win, LET'S GO PENS!!!
Listening to the Pens game on NHL app while waiting for a flight to Charleston, WV.
Several icing calls made already. Both teams trying to feel each other out.
Great shift by 3rd line. Bennett gets an opportunity, denied by Crawford
Game starting to open up, both teams up and down. Good hockey
Pouliot just missed on a wicked wrister, had Crawford leaning but wide. Bennett immediately answers with a shot, stoned by Crawford.
Hawks muster some offense but Fleury equal to the task. Shots 4-4 as we go to first commercial break.
Half way home through the 1st. Pens lead the shots 6-4. Chess match continues. 2nd commercial break
Hey there, Sal!
Kind of a back and forth game so far. Pens had a few opportunities but could not beat Crawford. Hope that changes in the second.

Hey Matt!
Just boarded my plane. I'll be out for the remainder of the game. Hoping that when I land in Charleston, WV I'll see the Pens with 2 more points!

Have a safe flight. I hope so, too. The Pens need two here this afternoon. The Islanders won last night.

Thanks Matt.
I agree, the Isles aren't letting up in spite of injury so the Pens need to keep pace, especially with the brutal schedule of opponents and road games the Pens are about to go on. We need every point we can salvage.
I agree. There are tough opponents coming up and most of the rest of the year is on the road.
Pens still can't cash in! 21 shots and 0 goals. Wow. Somehow they trail 1-0.
Tough loss. Eek'd out a point which is better than nothing.
Our once dominant record in shootouts has been slain this year.
Chicago is a great team so hanging with them was an excellent sign.
Need to carry the momentum into the game against Washington.
Really tough. One point is better than zero, I agree. Pens fought hard to tie the game and force OT.
It's obvious Mike Johnston does not practice the shootout as much as Dan Bylsma did. Under him, Pittsburgh was nearly unstoppable in the shootout. This year the Penguins are 3-7. Clearly a difference. Crosby & Malkin do not put fear into the opposing goalies, which they should.
