Possibly my fave season of the sartorial year, has got to be Spring/Summer's offerings. This season, FURLA journeys back the vividness of Italy in the sunny season and I am thoroughly excited at the bright nuanced pieces, accented with classy dark accents. Here's why my 2016 opened on a stylish note...
As expected of the Spring, its all about color. I found FURLA's SS14 carrying not one, but three very distinct personalities. First up, I'm loving the harmonious color blocking coupled with linear structuring, with just the correct dose of discreet embellishments like studs; giving this an eclectic day-into-night versatility.
How cute is this?!
For those preferring a more neutral palette, the opposite end of the spectrum still hold a playful take to bieges and muted metallics. I absolutely loved this petite little crossbody Metropolitan in a pale gold; with its weaved leather detail it adds a slight grunge flair to the classy piece.

But you know what's the surprising thing? I found the men's collections really ambiguous this season: which shares the same sleek and structured aesthetic. Because of this, I reckon that its highly wearble by us womenfolk: with business bags, reversible sport chic totes, back-packs, messenger bags and roomy hold-all styles in ares calfskin, nylon and a new embossed weave-like leather.
Always one to challenge the norms of men's style, this collection is all about bright hues: sunflower yellow, burgundy, navy, dark and light grey, emerald green and sky blue that's seamlessly integrated in the form of tonal or complementing color blocking.
Thank your WOM and FURLA Singapore for the invite! The featured collection is currently available at all FURLA boutiques islandwide.
