Four Men, Two Bands: Pasadena '68, Dakota Shakedown Release Double-ep

Posted on the 19 November 2015 by Hctf @hctf

Four Minneapolis based musicians playing musical chairs by being members of two like-minded bands: Pasadena '68 and Dakota Shakedown. Both acts can be labeled as indie rock, with Pasadena '68 leaning towards garage and Dakota Shakedown flying the power pop banner. After putting out a few feeler demos their first proper release is a self-titled double-EP that needs to be played loud during a road trip in classic convertible with the top down.

If writing catchy tunes was a crime these guys would be arrested all the time. Recommended if you like The Replacements, Pavement, Teenage Fanclub and Big Star.

Pasadena '68:
Nick Leet: vocals, guitar
Chad Wheeling: guitar
Elliot Hilton: bass, guitar, backing vocals
