FOTD:Spring into Fall with Lancome's Fall Collection

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
I have been sitting on a couple of new products by Lancome, and decided it was time to show them some love.  One product I used is a new palette and the other is one of the new matte lip colors, which was a must. This look is not a traditional "fall" look as the lip color is more bright and spring like, hence the name of this post. See what I did there? Okay. I'll stop now.

Eyes:
  • Maybelline Better Skin Concealer
  • Lancome Color Design All in One 5 Shadow and Liner Palette in Mon Regard Parisien
  • Anastasia Brow Whiz in Medium Brown
  • Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara
Instead of using Benefit's Air Patrol like I have been for the last couple of months, I opted for a concealer. My eyes needed a little more help, and I still look tired. These Lancome palettes make putting on your makeup a cinch, so I just followed the instructions. I used the matte light pink as my base color, the matte rosy mauve all over my lids, dark brown in my crease, and the sparkly pinky brown along my lash line. It may sound like a lot, but it took no time. I filled in my brows and applied two coats of mascara to finish off the eyes.
Face:
  • Kat Von D Lock It Featherweight Foundation Primer
  • Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation in 110 C
  • Cover FX Custom Cover Drops in P20
  • Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette
  • Guerlain Meteorites Perles de Neiges
  • Lancome Blush Subtil in Miel Glace

Prior to doing to my eye makeup, I applied primer all over my face and let it sit.  After I finished with my eyes, I mixed Lancome's Teint Miracle with a couple of drops of Cover FX Custom Cover Drops to enhance the coverage. I blended it using a damp sponge. I am trying a inexpensive one from Sephora and I don't like it anywhere near as much. Aftwerwards, I did some light contouring using Kat Von D's Shade + Light Palette, then I used Guerlains latest and greatest Meteorites all over my face. They add a subtle luminosity, but also slightly mattify my skin. I finished my skin by lightly applying Miel Glace.
Lips:
  • Lancome Le Crayon in Cherub
  • Lancome L'Absolu Velours in Velours de Petale

I actually lined my lips (that never happens) using Lancome's Cherub, which is a pinky berry shade. I went over it with the the new Velours de Petale, which is a matte liquid lipstick.
Clothing:
  • The blouse is from JC Penney and is by MNG by Mango
  • Mirina Collections 'Andy' Necklace. Remember to use the code atlantan20 for 20% off!

I have a few errands to run and dinner to make, but I will be back with a review on the eyeshadow palette I used today. I am going to test out the lipstick a little more to see how I feel about it.
See you soon and have a great Monday!
